April Fools Day, 2001:
Micro-broadcast and installation. Broadcasting from the mechanics bays of Britten’s Irving in the rural town of Hubbards Nova Scotia. Contributors included Gas Jockey Karl, Phil Clark, Graeme Patterson, Alyssa Robichaud, DJ Stump89, the Just Barelys and more. The broadcast was located aurally to the listener by placing a microphone near the bell alarm (set off when cars drive up), always interrupting and mixing into the programming. Karl, the gas attendant, was equipped with a wireless microphone so his conversations with customers could be included at any time within the mix.
