Endless Practice, 2011:
A sculpture created specifically for the exhibition Warming Up presented at the Confederation Centre Art Gallery, curated by Pan Wendt. The structure is made of kit drums, wedged between the floor and ceiling, with speakers embedded in the bottom bass drum. The audio plays the monotonous sound of a drummer (me) practicing, muffled in the body of the sculpture, yet resonating through the drum skins, sounding as though it might be coming from a garage next door.
